Violet is a tacksman’s daughter who has left home to feed her adventurous spirit and find her place in Tamriel. Almost as soon as her journey began, she discovered a love for fishing. As her passion grew, she began to hear strange tales of elusive blue-fleshed fish found in every corner of the world. One afternoon, while resupplying in Mournhold, a weathered Argonian asked where she had caught her large string of fish. Over the next few months, he schooled her in the art of fishing and found exclusive buyers for her stacks of fish, gems, runes and roe. This master angler became her respected mentor.
Violet began keeping a journal of her fishing adventures in hopes of someday returning home as a master angler to share her tale with her beloved sister, Lyllietta, who lies crippled in her bed. However, she could not afford a leather binding or quality quills and ink. And so, the loose leaves of her unfinished tale sometimes fly from her journal as she rides to her next adventure.
