Looking for a large zone with plenty of fishing? Look no further. The Morrowind DLC expansion has some of the best fishing in the game, with plenty of uncontested spots, a gorgeous soundtrack and some of the most lovely scenery around. Read on for tips on how to get the achievement and a complete fishing map for Vvardenfell!
Fishing Spots
Unlike some of the other DLC zones, there’s plenty of opportunity to complete all four fishing types (foul, lake, ocean and river) because of the sheer size of the area and numerous groups of each water type. Even better, you can easily get from fresh to foul by traveling overland without pesky wayshrines if you fish the southern part of the map above Vivec City.
Or, if you’re looking for a more dangerous fishing adventure, the northern half of the map’s ocean area will have you dodging atronochs around every corner under a sky full of ash.
One of my favorite features of the Morrowind expansion is the Amaya Lake Lodge. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to settle down with abundant fishing just steps from your door, this is the perfect house.
