Ah, there’s nothing like settling down on a shoreline and throwing your line into beautiful… oil? That’s right folks, there’s no water in Clockwork City, but that’s all I will say for fear of spoiling the questline for you. As you can imagine, the entire map is foul water fish only.
As with most smaller maps, you’ll be squeezing in with lots of other players and fighting off the mobs. There is a large “lake” to the east, but the spots seem to be pretty spread apart here and you’ll be doing some swimming in the sticky, black oil to get there. I found one spot particularly tucked away so keep an eye out!
Best Fishing
The best fishing is deep in the ravine where you’ll find dangerous mobs around every corner. The rate of nabbing rare fish seems to be a little less than other maps, so get comfortable with the oil and steam. Happy fishing!
